Wooden Products

Glulam & CLT

Engineered wood products represent the future of sustainable construction. By utilizing advanced bonding technologies and multi-layered timber structures, Glulam and CLT offer load-bearing capacities and spans that rival steel and concrete, while maintaining the natural beauty, lightweight profile, and exceptional thermal performance of solid wood.

Glulam

Glued Laminated Timber (Glulam) is a stress-rated engineered wood product composed of multiple wood laminations bonded together with durable, moisture-resistant adhesives. Because the grain of all layers runs parallel to the length of the member, Glulam delivers exceptional structural integrity. It is an incredibly versatile building material that can be manufactured as simple, load-bearing straight beams or beautifully complex, curved arches for soaring architectural designs.

Applications

  • Residential construction (beams, headers, ridge beams, floor beams, garage door headers)
  • Commercial construction (roof systems, columns, purlins, cantilevered beams, large-span structural frames)
  • Exposed architectural elements (vaulted ceilings, open spaces, arches, curved members, domed roofs)
  • Infrastructure and outdoor projects (bridges, marinas, utility poles, cross arms, docks)

Key benefits

Superior strength

Delivers significantly greater strength and stiffness than comparably sized traditional dimensional lumber

Design flexibility

Easily formed into virtually any shape, from standard flat beams to sweeping, custom curves

Durability

Highly resilient and capable of withstanding demanding outdoor and high-stress environments

CLT

CLT (or Cross Laminated Timber) is an engineered solid wood panel made by bonding layers of timber in alternating directions to create a strong, stiff, and dimensionally stable structural element. It is widely used for walls, floors, and roofs as a lightweight alternative to concrete and steel in modern construction.

Applications

  • Primary structural elements (load-bearing walls, solid floor systems, roof panels)
  • Flooring
  • Modular and prefabricated construction

Key benefits

High strength and stiffness

The cross-laminated build-up gives CLT strong structural performance in both directions, making it suitable for load-bearing wall, floor, and roof elements

Lightweight structure

Offers incredible structural integrity at a fraction of the weight of traditional heavy building materials

Dimensional stability

The wood is preliminarily kiln-dried to a strict 12% (±2%) moisture content before pressing, ensuring the final panels resist warping, shrinking, or expanding
